Got a choice of watching Titanic or Scarface tonight. Gonna go for Scarface.

That's not a choice. Scarface is way better than Titanic.
Tony Montana is a fucking bad ass. Pacino did a very good job.

There's got to be a way I can watch this. Maybe download it from somewhere with Dutch subtitles. I'm gonna hunt for it.

I love Tarantino and Dennis Hopper is in it. I know I am so going to like this.

I know for a fact that you do not get to spend time with such a man without him getting something in return.

Anyway I like this movie. For Dutch standards it's a good one.

Some classic TV shows that seem to fit here now since they are presented on DVD movie format. The spy genera .......

I Spy (the Don Quixote episode with Boris Karloff, especially), The Man From U.N.C.L.E., The Avengers , Secret Agent....

and my favorite.... The Prisoner. That big menacing "balloon" taking down Patrick got me every time!!

Yeah, I thought it was a pretty good movie. Gave it a 5/5 star rating on Netflix. Those are the types of movies I like.

Watched Edmond last weekend. That was pretty trippy.

Google the top ten most disturbing movies of all time, some of them are actually really good...some of my fav's. Many of them are the original foreign films, but the foreign movie remakes now a days are usually the sellers in the US. Some of them are banned from the US but you can easily get a bootlegged copy off the net somewhere.

and to add an edit: Death Proof somewhat parallels HWY.....but in a completely different tone (I have been drinking so I hope that makes sense????)

I've always enjoyed Robin Williams and his wild improv. He can still get me laughing to tears on late night TV.
I remember enjoying Mork & Mindy but never would have guessed at the time that he would show such powerful talents on the big screen.

Of all his great roles, I kind of enjoy a smaller movie best..."The Fisher King" gets me every time. Of course, any film involving a Monty Python alum will get me in, even if it's "only" with Terry Gilliam as director. A story of forgiveness & redemption......

Williams' movies are destined to become classics and stand the test of time, I think.

What are your faves from Robin??
