Did Elektra record any Love shows back in the day?

LOVE was another great band from the 60's and of course VERY Doors related.
I think it would be great to have this special topic about the band who was such a big example for The Doors.

Did Elektra record any Love shows back in the day? Were any pro live recordings made back in the late 60s?

If they did we haven't seen any!
With the DOORS, we keep getting the next holy grail lost recording unearthed (LONDON FOG!)!! With Love, we just want ONE!!!

:/

There are rumours...we can only hope to see them come true someday!!!

No, there's nothing.
Johnny Echols told me that he saw manny times that people recorded a gig, so there must be some cassettes hidden somewhere.

There's 20 minutes of Newport 1969 Festival.Only 2 minutes are known.
Some years ago when I helped out the UK guys with the LoVe Docu they had the 20 minutes of footage.I was promised a copy, but the footage was then stolen from the office.Pitty

That's so sad, Ed. Are there collectors so covetous that they steal something so rare as a live 60's Love film, and just keep it for themselves alone, denying Love fans the joy of seeing such a rarity??...seems so!! What small people they are.
