They had a few of those in this record store I went to down in Ocean Beach last weekend....
All I found was An American Prayer and the guy said the other three were sold the day before I got there

Nope. They were there on the wall when you last visited the room.

The LP's? You might be confusing John Christopher's post.
My doors LP's are in a DJ case. About 85 of them.

The books too. There's a lot in the Gun safe as well and I'll show all who visit this summer.

Nice, Dan

Is that one of those Morrison Hotel plaques?I've been thinking of getting the WFTS one myself...
What will be filling the empty frame btw?

Yep. That's a MH plaque. Number 25/2500 I bought from Kerry years ago.
That's not an empty frame but rather the Yellow Fantasy Faire poster.

That's the only Doors plaque I've ever purchased. It's really nice. I have #324.

Found this 1945 theater program yesterday looking through some old newspapers and such:
The place is better known to Doors fans as what it later became, the Hullabaloo, the Kaleidoscope, and the Aquarius Theater.

My groovy 45 Record Case from the 60's era. I keep my promo doors 45's in there only.

Nice red light Dan, For a change you need one of those old rotating lights that change from red to blue to green , then yellow....or a strobe light!
Or one of those amoeba psychedelic background light shows like on the Moby Grape LP back cover!!
Time for a Freak Out....
>> I assume you have a super sound system installed to give the proper background music to your Doors museum?

No, man. Not yet. I'm looking to add like a couch or a comfy chair and make it a room to hang out in and party. I'm getting there though.

Cool, looks like it's a full-page newspaper ad mounted on some kind of sturdy material, probably a repro...yes?First time I've seen that one...what kind of a "mall" carries something like that anyway?

Thanks for sharing

this older guy comes to town every now and again and rents out this vacant store in the mall. he told me about the ad last week and I almost fell out, but he had it in storage and I wasn't able to check it out until last night.
it appears as if the original owner glued the ad onto a wooden frame and then stretched out a piece of plastic covering over it and stapled it to the sides of the frame. I'm 99.9% certain it's authentic. you can make out the other side of the newspaper.
the guy who sold him the Mexico ad also sold him a set of 4 handbills. it's hard to tell if they're the real deal or reproductions. they're San Jose '68, Cow Palace '70, Avalon Ballroom '67 and Winterland '67. like the Mexico ad, all 4 handbills were pasted onto a wooden frame and plastic wrapped. he wants $50 for this piece.
