Of course everyone wants to know if Pennebaker filmed Toronto 69, but you mentioned you don't know...

So another interesting facet of this show is John Lennon. Did you or The Doors meet/talk to him at the show?

What about any of the other musical acts like Chuck Berry, Fats Domino etc?

I'm thankful that one person managed to capture this show on tape, it's one of my favourites for a few reasons, Crystal Ship which became a bit rarer, introduction of Roadhouse Blues and a fascinating rendition of The End.

I came across this guy in another forum in a What Concerts Have You Attended thread.

I was in John and Yokos honour guard, as they requested a full blown motorcycle Club as escort from the Airport to Varsity Stadium in Toronto.
John Brower, the promoter, was good friends of Edjo, prez of the Vagabonds M.C.
I was a Road Captain for VMC at the time.
We met under the motorway with full tanks at 7.30 A.M. @ that time so it made for a long day.
We got freebie first row seating,
Weird scenes inside the goldmine, as Mr. Morrison would sing.
I passed out a few times through the day, par for the course.
The band that blew me away the most was Chicago who did the first album live.
Terry Cath was amazing!
