Thoughts on the Forthcoming Box Set??

Vince, what are your views on the forthcoming Doors"Perception" Box set?.

All the best material that the Doors, as a group, recoded has been released many times over in many combinations. I cannot see what could be new, although there is claim that there will be previously unheard or unsees materials.

OK - But is the studio talk and such worth that amount of money? I think not.

It is certain that I will not get an autographed copy from the Management or Dave. I can't even get an answer to a simple but serious question.

Personally, I think that the price is way too high to be a financial success. Who knows. Good luck to them.

More interesting and probably far more accurate, will be the book. But it will come out in paper back and maybe, if I don't die first and I can get back to the States, I can get a copy. Ray was Kind enough to provide a copy of his book, which I read with interest and enthusiasm, Maybe I can get a crumb or two.

That's my 4 cents, for what it is worth (I am on overtime).

Thanks for responding to my question vince..... what is your simple but serious question vince that you cant get an answer to if you dont mind me asking.

Surely it should be manners for them to respond vince.
