Hi Vince, What are your recollections of this tv show they did on sept 17th 1968? I Believe it was early in the morning, everybody is on top form and by far to me the BEST version of WTMO i have ever heard.

8) I agree with Stuart......I also think the emotion that Jim shows in Texas Radio...is what made him such an awesome preformer....any other info you can shed Vince, would be appreciated......did you accompany The Doors on this trip abroad?

Jim was rested after his hospital stay in Amsterdam. He was also a bit more subdued than usual. He was intent on showing the Guys that he could perform well - when it suited him.

Of course, knowing that it was for TV and would ve heavily censored should he step out of line, also kept his behavior in more tolerable limits.

They guys liked performing live because they could relate to the audience.

If course I was on that tour. I was on every Doors tour from 1967.12.26 until 1972,01,19 when Siddons dismissed me summarily.
