Krieger/Krueger

We're lucky to have former Doors road manager Vince Treanor here to answer fan questions and share some of his memories. Ask Vince about anything related to the equipment The Doors used, stage set-ups, specific concerts, the band after Jim's death, and working on the Oliver Stone movie.

Krieger/Krueger

Post by nephron »

...or Freddy Krieger? This is not an insult. Only supposed to be slightly funny, but mostly a serious question. But look at Robby's facial/scalp skin today c/to 60's. Was he a victim of a radiation experiment gone bad? This is not natural aging.

No one be offended. I have nothing but the upmost respect for Robby.

Hmm, I don't know. He looks very old, that's for sure. But Krueger? No, I don't see that part.
Who knows, maybe it was some kind of radiation. But I keep it on just aging.

I've seen some pretty good photos of him. I've seen a lot of people his age (Internal Medicine/Nephrology). I wonder if he's had some autoimmune skin disease (like pemphigoid or lupus or vitiligo)? I don't care at all, in any meaningful way. Just fishin' to see if somebody knew something about this. Again, I feel stupid for even asking this question. :kickingselfinass:

Seems to me that I've heard somewhere that Robby has some kind of skin condition but don't know it's name. I wondered if he just had too much sun in his younger days.

He's just a few years older than I. Back in the day kids were regularly slathered up with baby oil, sometimes mixed with iodine. How are french fries prepared? In oil, of course!

Yeah, but if you cook fries in olive oil, you lower your triglycerides by 40%.....

- the very idea of actually starting a topic like this, could actually be the missing link itself!

Holy fuc*king shit! Hamlet discovered the missing link! But I should say, it seems to be clear that being an ape-like semi-supine/recumbent creature pales in comparison to a fuc*king pompous forum troll.

Regard for others

Hello Forum

I just happened to read a post that mademe feel a bitbad. It is the kind of thing we all often see on chat rooms and the news commentary sites. It is a personal attack because we do not agree with someone else.

Please remember that some of you do not agree with things I say or think, as I do not always agree with other people's thoughts. But that does not mean they are bad or should have grossly negative comments about their intellect or personality made.

Let's behave toward each other with the respect that all those with a common interest should have. We can disagree without resorting to the gutter mentality we see in other places.

Robby

I was shocked to see Robby 10 years ago. I fact, I did not recognize him. He was always involved with macrobiotics and all sorts of healthy things.I don't know what happened to him but it certainly has affected his skin and made himlook quite old.

What counts, of course, is his mentality. That is going to stay young.
