Me too. They are awesome. :D
I read that Jack and Meg are going to tour again.
They didn't anymore because Meg suffered from panick attacks on stage.
She seemed to have overcome. Good news. I hope they will make a new album.

Meg got married last week I heard. I hope she gets better. Jack is now promoting his other band. I forgot the name....it's not The Recontours. I think it's The dead winter or something like that? lol

Very talented man. Love Jack. I just can't get the band names right

Meg got married? That is great. She really is doing better. :D
Yes Jack is such a very talented man. He's amazing. And I can't keep track of the other band names either.
I love me some Jack and Meg. They know how to bring you in all kinds of moods with their songs. Love them.

I'm not sure how Gilmour made the cut in this pic. Probably because of Jon Carin's association w/ the tour. Not sure who the goofy looking guy is. I posted the artwork because I find it extremely humorous.

Here's the lineup from this concert - July 18, 1996 N.Y.:
Pete Townshend - guitar, vocals, piano
John Entwistle - bass guitar, vocals
Roger Daltrey - vocals
Phil Daniels - Jimmy
Gary Glitter - The Godfather
Billy Idol - The Ace Face
Zak Starkey - drums
John Bundrick - keyboards
Simon Townshend - guitar, vocals

Lucifer Rising by Jimmy Page

....available ONLY as a boot, ever!....music of the rejected score for Kenneth Anger's film "Lucifer Rising"......an amazing psychedelic instrumental journey with some trippy, amazing guitar work by Jimmy.

After he was "fired" by Anger, Jimmy's health and guitar work weakened dramatically (they say) due to a magical hex placed on him by Anger!! Anger dealt with/produced films of the occult. The "other" story is that Jimmy's heroine addiction got the better of him.

I'm going to see if I can get Ed to make this available to you all here as a download ....once I send it out today.

Cheers

Yeah, probably.
I'm not a fan of The Who tho...just knew right away who that was, that's all.
But I just did a bit of research, and he (Edmondson) played the role of the Ace Face at The Who's first gig of that tour in Hyde Park, London.

And Gilmour is in that picture that you posted cause he (I assume from your post saying you're not sure why he's in it that you're unaware of this...?) played additional guitar, lead guitar, sung several songs, and played the bus driver (all according to Wikipedia, by the way) at that first performance in Hyde Park.

Ahh, Edmondson was the first Bellboy (after Keith Moon, of course). Billy Idol took over after that first show. Thanks for looking into that, hourformagic. Might make a Who fan out of you yet! :P

Gonna give Doors Live in Pittsburgh a listen today - Detroit Red Wings vs Pittsburgh Penguins, Stanley Cup Final. Same venue... hopefully same result as last year. Go Wingz!

I finally found a video to share of one of the best blues/psych bands to come out of the 60's midwest transplanted to SF.

Linn County (Blues Band) Elevator Woman......from their second LP called "Fever Shot".

Ed will tell ya, this is one great band......rockin' bluesy psych like no other!!! =)
