I wish I could actually write in this topic and say I am the one driving.

Most of you will know I parked a car in somone's yard many years ago and have not drove a car since. But I will get a drivers license in the future for sure.

So sitting in the passengers seat I would like to have Roadhouse blues the Doors on at this mo. Sun, car, music out loud. Oh yes.

Does this count James?

Exactly Metal to Mozart. Vivaldi more then Mozart in my case.

No, I have not heard this story

No car crash or something.

I just had panic. And I don't remember how. It's a long time ago. But it was suddenly in this man's yard. And I got upset. That man got upset. The driving teacher who was the boyfriend of a girlfriend of mine and was helping me, got upset. So I got more upset and said screw it. And I never drove again.

But I love cars. And I like to drive. And I will get my license in the future. But not gonna do it in Holland I think. Gonna wait untill I moved.

Sorry, 2 minutes to think about and remember some of my driving experiences. Got 1......2....no...got 14 songs and I probably left out 122 more

The reason why: well I usually burn some CDs with compilations of my own and time flies on the road. So for now (and also with different music styles) I can think about of 7 slower and 7 faster ones:

Absolutely, it counts, Mon!! Riding or driving, nothing like .....Road songs!! Anyway, you qualify as a "back-seat or passenger-driver"!!.... so....you're fine. Good luck on getting a driver's lic!

Driving in Holland must be like driving in Boston.....Driver's beware!! It 's crazy there, too!!

So Vivaldi.....Some "Four Seasons" would do nicely.

Trans Europe Express can be great while being on the road too.

The version of this song I have is "The Model" so the english version and it comes from a Rock compilation I treasure because it has a lot of songs from the 80s that are part of my imaginarium

The years I started to discover Rock, Blues, and a whole sort of exciting sounds and bands. Kraftwerk seemed so ahead of all I ever knew at that time... I don't like everything I know from them but some of their stuff is very good.

I agree Kraftwerk has made some nice stuff, but never good complete albums in my opinion. I've been raised with German synth music like Kraftwerk, Tangerine dream, Klaus Schulze etc..
That's why I know some stuff about them.

Not my favorite style of music for me too. But some songs are good though.

KAK Trieulogy.......a great 8 minute pure psych blues guitar driven romp!

If you don't know KAK with guitar god Gary Lee Yoder.....I know anyone that loves Love and Doors psych will love this. If you you don't you don't really love psych.

Anyone else love KAK (anyone here from the UK? A friend from the UK told me that "kak" is slang for ???? and something even the BBC doesn't allow. True?)

If yer gonna drive, M, be sure to go to the ANWB to get a foreign drivers license.If you do not have such paper you are not allowed to drive.I have to get one also when I am going to the US in september.Just that you know in case the cops stop you...
