As you know I have all first pressings of Neil Young's first 6 LPs....and first and second of my favorite of Neil's--his first LP! Not Canadian though. I wonder if the Canadian pressings have the green & pink Reprise label like the UK release?. Only issued in the later two two tone label in the US......

Just got my remastered-from-the-original analog tapes----Neil Young's first on CD......never sounded better!!!

Well if I find some, I guess I can see how much it would cost for S&H to the US. I could charge you for the 1$, plus whatever shipping would cost.

I`ll see what they have tonight.

S & H is something like $15 from past mailings. You're too cool, Sasha...I was half kidding not expecting you to go to the trouble, but if the records are beat, it's not worth it. What do I expect for a buck. But if playable ..... a nice Canadian Neil LP would be cool!

Don't go out of your way if you are pressed for time!!!.....but thanks and kind regards!!

Doors Stuff

Post by Sydney »

What great collections on here!

I have an original Santa Clara Folk-Rock Festival poster from May 1968, an autographed album (Strange Days) by all four of The Doors, and every book that has ever come out on the group/Jim Morrison. Oh, yeah, I have a first edition (1969) of The Lords and the New Creatures book.

Thanks, James!

The album cover is in storage right now, along with the poster and book. An old friend of mine back in the day got the autographs when The Doors were performing in Southern California. The signatures are difficult to make out, but as soon as I visit storage in the next week, I'll take some pictures (I have the album cover framed). I miss seeing both hanging on my wall!

Over the years, I've seen a lot of memorabilia, well, a few perhaps, of all four signatures. Guess it gets rarer as time goes on, but before Ollie Stone's movie, Doors autographs and other stuff were in low demand and plentiful supply.

Great to be here,

Syd

i always think that the doors movie come out for that reason, and manzarek and company known very well......you can't using name of person if they don't sell to you the copyright or right or like you say. then you can also say...no no stone movie is a shit...like manzalek say...but not all person are ingenuous..

I just found & won, my dream vinyl record. So hard to find in VG+ playable condition with any kind of cover that isn't worn to death.

ELECTRIC LADYLAND --JIMI. STILL SEALED, ORIGINAL USA PRESSING.
COLUMBIA RECORD CLUB PRESSING, WHICH MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLY RARE!
$105. VG+ is going for $70. Record club vinyl generally goes for two three times as much as the regular release. Beatles record clubs can go for four times as much..I've never seen a record club Ladyland listed.

It's OK...you can be envious! I will slit it open just to look at the vinyl, but I WILL NOT PLAY IT! It will get resealed and I'll just play my NM copy.

:D

Hey. I dont post here much now due to being busy at work and other stuff but I have been looking at the pictures of peoples collections and realy enjoyed seeing them. So I have decided to post mine. I havent included any of my bootlegs, downlaods, cdrs or trade circle stuff, just official releases and anything that can be bought legit from stores atc. A few items dont quite fit that description but the pics are of 99% official releases.

I have included, box sets, cds, cassettes, dvds, VHS, Vinyl and books.
Ive never put pics here so I hope it works
