Congratulations! Colour of the day!

After those great teams and players from the past:
1974

1978

1988

Now with this team:
2010

a great oportunity to become world champion!
My guess is that we will have a final with Holland vs Germany.
Let's see if you will be able to say this next Sunday

Good luck Holland!

Holland was never more than Uruguay! they got the luck to score 2 goals in 3 mins when the 2nd was an evident off side position.
I''m now ALL OVER Spain, they are imo the best team of Europe and deserve to become World Champion and considering they already beat those similar German and dutch teams 2 years ago in their Eurocup 08, I think there's a big chance for Spain to win the world cup.
Also to mention that to see 4 southamerican nations in the top 8 was something special, and Uruguay in the top 4 is great and well deserved for the good footbal and heart they put in the field....and is funny to release they did the repesca and passed into the World Cup as the fifht from South America.

In a way it's true that Uruguay was side by side with Holland. But Holland had best individual players (the exception is of course Fórlan) and these know how to play collectively. I felt sorry for Uruguay because they played very very well and never went to a more agressive game as they did in the last decade.antero wrote:Holland was never more than Uruguay! they got the luck to score 2 goals in 3 mins when the 2nd was an evident off side position.

About Spain and Germany, I think Spain will have to play better than they did so far. Germany is stronger than 2008 and for me till now they presented a better football. However we know that it's something to be decided in just one game and everything is possible when two top teams have such an important game.
Good luck to all and may the best team win, especially without judgement mistakes from the referee. Waiting for a great game

"La Roja" did it! Congratulations! I'm convinced!

just look to Pujol face. He seems to say: "I'm gonna do something bad to the germans!"
I'm also impressed because "Paul" the octopus from Oberhausen Sea -life aquarium is always giving the right predictions.
Just look:
Germany vs Argentina
Germany vs Spain

I think this "Nostradamus octopus" is not goin to finish his days in a frying pan
How much they are going to pay for his predictions to the big final.
Anyone wants to predict too? After today I'm unable to predict anything. Two things are certain: 1) we gonna have a great final; 2) we will a never before seen football world champion!
And there's one guy in this planet that will be in deep trouble to choose among two loves, among two countries:
.......................................................
Well, I'm sure he will choose Holland but I think also he probably will have a more positive perspective: he will be happy in any scenario.
Good luck Spain!
Good luck Holland!
Give us an unforgettable final!

Right, Fernando
There's more about Oracle psychic Paul the Octopus!
This is a short google tranlation of a portuguese news about the octofellow:
Elena Espinosa, Spanish Minister of Environment, joked about the predictions of Paul, the octopus fortune teller, who predicted a victory for Spain against Germany in the semi-finals of the World. She even made an application for special protection for the animal so that he will not be eaten.
The octopus, which lives in the Sea Life Aquarium in Oberhausen, accurately predicted the entire campaign of the "Mannschaft" in South Africa, becoming one of the greatest curiosities of the World.
The accurate predictions of the "Animal Oracle" prompted the governor of the neighboring country to make a special request for protection: "I hope the Germans will not eat him."
Paul made the guesses to choose one of two transparent boxes with food, each of which had the banner of one of the countries concerned.
I wonder if this woman will repeat this request if Paul will choose the orange box in the next couple of days...
Ladies and gentleman: Paul, oracle psychic octopus

OK, Paul predicted: Spain will be world champion!
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/4176 ... -champions
I think now the spanish minister has the moral obligation of buying the octopus from the germans, assuring he will spent the rest of the days alive and well in spanish waters
The octopus also gave predictions for the remaining game. So, this is what he says: 1-Spain; 2-Holland; 3-Germany; 4-Uruguay
Crazy world cup!
