Beatles rocked the Kremlin

They are rerunning this here on PBS (from 2009). If you haven'r seen it, it is amazing...how the Beatles brought down the USSR...more than any other political movement or event, they were the force and inspiration that tore down the walls.

They are still revered there as some kind of Revolutionary heroes and gods!
Quite amazing. One fan at the recent McCartney concert there compared the show to a religious experience....most would seem to agree. The Beatles have had their popularity go up and down with each new era, such as New Wave, but they are a constant in Russia it seems.

Very interesting. Check it out if you haven't!
