Hard to believe there were only 17 episodes. I think it may have been one of the first BBC series to air over here--at least that I watched...we were mesmerized seeing it for the first time! It first aired on June 1st, 1968 in the USA....it made for a surreal summer!!
The finale to 'The Prisoner' is one of the greatest puzzles of all time. The inclusion of 'All You Need Is Love' somehow fit into the ending. There were more questions asked and not answered than answered, and I'm sure that's the way that Patrick McGoohan wanted it.
