85 innocent youth at summercamp slaughtered...
and 500kg+ carbomb blown up outside of government building killing 7 people and maiming countless others in Oslo, Norway. Everything seemingly set up and carried out by a single perpetrator...
What a tragic day.
What a tragic day.

Thanks.... been stuck to the screen too, flipping back and forth between news channels looking for updates continually.
And seeing the way this has affected all us norwegians in general I can't even begin to imagine the pain and suffering of the 100+ wounded and the parents and relatives left behind after having their kids and loved ones outright executed by this thing...
The kids out there mostly ranged in ages from only 14 to 25, almost a fifth of all the people at the camp were shot dead.... horrible ....

That guy planning all this must be real fucked up. I hope the cops treat him "well" enough now by having him in their hands. After making that damn bomb happen in the center and then dressing up as a cop to kill all those good folks at the island is waay off the hook. All my condolences for you over there.

Our hearts and minds to the Family of the people who
died , another "columbia" story and the crimes must stop. I
Heard that this lunatic was on the black list of the police but they didnt do anything about it . Is it true?
I also heard that the life sentence in Norway is 21 years, and the government is considering to
Raise it .. I say that they bring up the death sentence just for this guy or at least that they will decide to put him in a miserable cell to rot for the rest of his pathetic life

The hungarian news were full of his hungarian related friend and praises which was part of his 1500+ page diary of how we chased out the Turks from Europe back in the centuries and all these kind of overexaggerated bs just to prove his faith is right, that all nations must clear their culture and so on. Clearly he went against multiculturalism but how can one do that nowadays with at least some normally functioning logic and mind?!
Looking at what he has done, even a cell is too humane for this twisted face. This guy should not be hanged but shown to the public for the rest of his life in a cage in circuses from cities to towns all around to get thrown by apples, eggs and tomatoes, medieval times-like. I think only that kind of punishment would have any kind of dissuasive function so every other, similar kind of thinkers would think twice before they would be up to do anything related.

He wasn't on any kind of black list per se, they did however find his name on a list of customers that had purchased chemicals from a certain Polish website.lizardkingteo wrote:Our hearts and minds to the Family of the people who

The list was compiled in an unrelated checkup carried out on behalf of the norwegian Toll- and Taxdepartment. He was listed on there with a single purchase of an unknown article/substance (upon inspection it seems to have been for "Sodium Nitrite" according to his manifest) totalling about 120 NOK = $22
The PST, norwegian Police Intelligence- and Securityservice, had no way of knowing that he was involved in anything at all as he was just a name on a list in an unrelated matter at the time...
A death sentence in such an extraordinary case would be appropriate indeed, but fighting fire with fire, going by the code of an eye for an eye in such a case would certainly be both morally and judicially questionable.
Won't happen anyway, as I believe it's not legally possible to modify existing laws after the crime has been carried out.
As for him being put in a miserable cell here in Norway, not going to happen....it's widely known that our prisons are of medium- to upperclass hotel standards and criminals do not suffer in the very least.
It's all a part of the "rehabilitation" of the criminally minded, there's no cure for this guy's warped mind though.
He'll probably get 21 years mandatory, and then continue on to be put up in front of a board every 5-6 years to see if he's ready to be released, something that is surely never going to be allowed to happen.
He has said himself that he's expecting to spend the rest of his life behind bars..... it's just a shame that the norwegian people will have to be paying with our own taxmoney to fund his relatively comfortable lifelong stay in prison..

Numbers of confirmed kills on the island of Utoya was recently lowered from 86 confirmed to now 68...apparently a few had been counted twice in the confusion following the disaster. 15 people are still listed as missing from this shooting though, most in their early to late teens.
I think it's relatively safe to say that these people will be added to the death toll sooner than later, most of them were probably shot while trying to swim across the fjord or simply drowned before reaching the other side..
8 people are confirmed dead in the related Oslo bombing, with 1 person reported missing/not found so far.
