Woodstock

We're lucky to have former Doors road manager Vince Treanor here to answer fan questions and share some of his memories. Ask Vince about anything related to the equipment The Doors used, stage set-ups, specific concerts, the band after Jim's death, and working on the Oliver Stone movie.

Stuart, I am not sure I can give a comprehensive answer. I do know whtat there was the opportunity to go. I know that I was asked by Crosby, Still, Nash & Young to go & do their sound.

I also did not go though my brother did - maybe assuming I would be there.

There was some activity or reason why they did not participate. Perhaps recording or conflict with a proposed date of their own.

I do know that, when the dust settled, there was some regret that they did not perform there.

There were so many missed opportunities. Some of them were more nuisance and others were indeed important.

That is all I can tell you, Stuart. Time has eroded the reasons cut into sand. I know one thing, it was a horrible mess even for the performers

Thanks for the question
