Found these Jimbo Ear Plugs

Post by jamestkirk »

Couldn't resist. I was standing in that line at TJ MAXX where they force you to walk through a labyrinthine aisle of low-priced impulse-buy items while you inch your way to the register; and these were hanging right beside me as I waited for the line to move.

Nothing great as far as ear buds no doubt, but they looked cool for six bucks. The packaging is cool with a magnet to hold the cover closed.

They had me at "Come On..."

Yes. ...it is just awful,

...but when they get you standing there in line you need to do something to pass the time...then, by the time you get to the cash register, it's too LATE!

That "Come On Light My Fire" font treatment is so cheesy....and the little Jimbo sticker on the ear buds made me think of our cheesy sticker LA Woman 40th anniversary debate!

I've got some of those. I've got Hendrix ones too. Not the best sounding, but we don't care too much about that for these do we?

Yes...horrible sound! Bur Jim's on the ear plugs. Cheap little items but do collectors care? Maybe, but they were one of those impulse items they tempt us with while standing in a checkout line! They got me!

Well, I'm an audiophile and I just bought them for the pure vanity. I got them on cheap on clearance at Woot.com, so I really can't complain.
