NIck Drake

Post by anytimecowboy »

Hello,
I dont know if this artist has ever been discussed here. Nick Drake is a bit of an obsession of mine. has anyone here ever heard of any footage or live recordings? I am well aware that the answer is likely to be a resounding no as Nick Drake's cult popularity and post death following is arguably in part due to the mystique surrounding him but thought people here might have heard of at least some rumors

I am aware of the supposed footage of him at a festival that could be almost anyone really as its some guy from the back. Ive heard a two minute interview and some tracks from the peel session and Im sure there is another radio session somewhere. Other than that Ive never heard any rumors of teh mysterious mr Drake, im not even sure about the footage of him as a child, has that been seen?

Any interest here and any information?

Yes. If you enter Nick Drake in the SEARCH menu, you'll find several threads.

One of a kind and in my top five solo artists...and at the top of that list too!!

=)

There is no live footage of Nick performing or even walking, except from his childhood.

A Skin Too Few is one of the best music documentaries of all time...do you agree?

I think this is all that has turned up of the peel session, Time of No Reply and Three Hours. Do you know anything of the other radio session ?
