I read the news today, Oh Boy! Official Beatles Bootleg!

One thing we gotta admit...The Beatles know how to do a "new" release, or reissue, or rarities, or box set....right!

No actual CD release? That would be disappointing, considering the quality of an mp3 download.

Official bootlegs coming!

Hmmm...the buzz at the Steve Hoffman forum...

Maybe a copyright extension set, similar to the recent Dylan sets? Otherwise, still-unreleased 1963 recordings are due to go public domain on 31st December.

Looks like something similar to the Bob Dylan Copyright Extension sets, at least in regards to the motivation behind it.

I prophecy that this will be available for a day (or whatever the minimum amount of time is required to legally be considered as released) and then deleted. Assuming its official, of course. (Or even if it isn't...)
