Wild Child (the band, not the song)

Discussions of other bands, including D21C/ROTS should go here.

Wild Child (the band, not the song)

Post by glenn »

Thinking of seeing Wild Child tonight at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills. Has anyone seen them? Worth the 1+ hour drive?

I saw them a couple of times 20 years ago, best Doors cover band imo. It's 20 years later now , dunno if it's still the same. But if I were you, I''d go for it.

I'd be curious how this compares to what you remember from 20 years ago, Ed.

Sweet. They have that lean Doors sound. The guitar is nice and vocals are good...no one can compare to Ray's keyboards or John's unique drumming style in my opinion. But then as a drummer, I'm a rhythm-section kind of guy...always listening to the beat!

This is a lo-fi audio/vid, so I'm curious if you found them to be....satisfying?
