ffffffffffffffffffffuck no.
I think my grandma bought me some. Late 80s-early 90s, it wasn't socially obscene at the time. At no time did I have a mullet or any other trendy haircut.

Can't add anything to the "Zubas" discussion, sorry.........but......
Listening to the
DOORS .......my original
MONO vinyl. I have an original stereo, but I've always had the mono from the beginning and the stereo just sounds so sonically WEAK!!! I tried listening to the stereo version just now, but I just didn't want to waste my time!!
Is it my imagination or are some tracks actually slower, or a bit up or down....but not a whole octave of course. "Crystal Ship" especially sounds much brighter (well they all do), more immediate, life-like and a little faster.....the stereo version sounds like I have the brakes on a bit and I keep wanting to crank up the equalizer, but to no avail!!! Is it my imagination or is it THAT superior....you heavy audio guys ought to know....Ed, Dan, Len, anyone??
I know this has been discussed here and everywhere, but it just seemed so glaring today.....is it my hearing.....getting a little deaf?!!!

Love it TOO!!!
Saw them live in 1995, get live at the Wolf Trap 2004 DVD for a sweet version of that song!
Nice, OK!! So is the original band back together??
Thanks for the ref....what a band...do you like the early Doobies best? I do....not that I don't love the "Taking It To The Streets" era.....it's just not classic Doobies!
Listening to LoVE....
A House Is Not A Motel right now....what an explosion....one of my faves!!

The Doobie's lineup on this show is Tom Johnson, Pat Simmons, Keith Knudsen, John McFee, Michael Hossack with 6 backup musicians.
Don't really know much about the Doobie's eras', i've just been a 'greatest hits' person really, I have a performance from them in Memphis 1976 at the 'Showboat', another sweet performance of Black Water
