I bought this LP:

I thought it was a mispress.
Side 1 is Side 1 from the album “The doors” (See description by discogs).
But it was NOT a mispress.
I was annoyed.

I have this LP in my collection with lightgrey label.
Then I discovered a difference to the LP in my collection.
On the LP in my collection you can read on the label: Side one and side two.
On this LP from the spanish seller you can read: Side 1 and side 2.

One this case I can take this LP in my collection ... it’s not the same label text

Lucky ... buyer and seller !

I collect and have those NZ Absolutely Live vol 1 and 2 records too. There is another version too, it's a white label. I have heard there may be a red label version too, but I have never seen one, so I am not sure if I believe that.

Yes. I have the same as you plus the white onw. I am doubtful of a full red label, just passing on what I have heard... doesn't mean it is true though.

is there anyway of telling which year a record was printed? I know this obviously their firsts album and was released late 66 early 67 , but how do you know what press they are without opening them? because found this today and it's never been opened before, I wonder how many still exist today that are original and no it's not a 180gram or 200gram

Well, since you haven't watermarked this photo, it's hard to tell...

But try discogs, giving all the information that is on the back. You have to find which one it is. Nice item by the way.

I think that is a US press from the late 80ies or early 90ies ... difficult to say from the distance ...
