PJ Harvey - A Girl Like Me
great song, with beautiful Morrison-esque poetry (provided Jim was a female)

Fred Neil "A little bit of rain"
Fred was an inspiration & mentor to Bob Dylan, Steve Stills, Tim Buckley,
Harry Nilsson, Jefferson Airplane, David Crosby, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell,
Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Bobby Darin....& on.........
with songs like "Everybody's Talking", "Dolphins", "Candy Man". He took fledging artist's under his wing...like Bob Dylan, David Crosby. So good.
I think "Bleeker & MacDougal" is my favorite Elektra cover. If you haven't
listened to any of his works. please do now.....

Roisin never should have gone solo, She is not the same without her men. Moloko for the mood. Love that beat and voice.

Sadly Moloko as a band do no longer exist. The greatest power of Moloko is the live performances. So many different styles and Roisin has such an amazing different voice and so much personality on stage.
I'm glad you like it Kostis.

The first video was from their performance at Pinkpop in Holland. Somewhere in this thread I posted more video's of moloko. Have a look if you are interested to see more.

why the fuck do you post my youtube clips around message boards?
Yes, they're public links, but I'm not keen on you posting them in places
I don't even visit
Freedom's board is inhabited by friends, but other boards
I'm not even registered with
and NO, I'm not a mod at the Doors boards anymore

A great live performance of "Crucifixion" by Phil Ochs with a nice video treatment. Quite a performance, especially for such an ambitious song.......his peak, I think, about Christ/JFK.
