Everytime I hear this song it reminds me of a certain child I knew and felt sad for.
Sorry to hear that Twilla.
This song I don't know, didn't listen to it in ages and suddenly it came in to my head and I went to listen to it. Just as powerful now as when it was released.

At the moment it reminds me of a teenage boy living in this building right now.
He's running the household. His dad is an alcoholic. Child protection is involved now luckily. Money can't buy happiness or a safe envirement to grow up in.
I hope the kid grows up to be a strong young man. He sure got his heart at the right place and the fighting spirit of a lion.
Great kid.
No matter how many times he sets the place downstairs on fire lol.
It wont change my opinion of him.
Beautiful song. Luka.

Anouk - Everything [Live @ Gelredome 2008]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2OlVJvY ... re=related

=)

Now I can see theres only one place to reach
Only one thing to preach and thats the highest
Its the strangest thing that I can feel so much

There is no reason, there is no logic to feelings
cause when love is the dealer I'm addicted
So fascinated, I cant stop this constant craving
Youre contagious
Its the strangest thing that I can feel so much
For someone, somehow

The best is still to come dear
The best is still to come for us

Anouk has got a new album out wich is once again incredible. Number one again. Dutch icon. The Golden Earring must be so proud of her. :D

A look behind the scenes in Sweden, where Anouk recorded her new album For Bitter Or Worse

Tony Galla and the Rising Sons ('Raven') - "In Love" - 1967

..."In Love" was recorded by Tony Galla and the Rising Sons in 1967 before they became part of 'Raven'. The song was written by Tony Galla and his brother, Armando.

"Raven.. one of the best blues/jazz bands... ever!" - "the late Jimi Hendrix" - 1969.

Tony Galla (vocals), Jim Calire (piano/organ/vocals), Gary Mallaber (drums), "the late Tom Calandra" (bass guitar), and John Weitz (lead guitar).

The Raven hailed from Buffalo, New York and got their official national start in New York City at the world famous, Steve Paul's Scene.

This outstanding band of accomplished musicans was discovered in the late 1960s by "the late Jimi Hendrix" and "the late George Harrison".

Shaman's blues, Wishful sinful, Wild child and The soft parade =)
I always thought how absurd to consider this the weakest Doors album.
Those are 4 superb songs and about half of the album! There's only one weak song: Do it. The exclusion of Who scared you was a mistery and and also a bad decision IMO.
Great album! =)
