Ah  don't you worry about that. You just get that ankle healed 100% and feel better Scott.

Miles Davis, Lovely. :D

Listening to

Joe Cocker - You Can Leave Your Hat On

right now.
My ankle is slowly improving ....seems like a long time.....going on 7 weeks, so I guess the doctor's estimate of 8-12 weeks is about right. Thanks for asking, moni.

The Miles LP is "Kind of Blue", the Richie Valens is his only LP released while he was alive, but mine is the very first DelFi first pressing, and there weren't many pressed before DelFi redesigned the label. Also, mine is supposed to be the very best sounding, with all subsequent reissues (up to even today's remixes) being a bit inferior---it does sound brilliant!!

Takes a lot of patience doesn't it with your ankle? Heal well you.

The Miles Davis album. Sigh, so lovely. Beautiful. =) What a collection you have Scott. I've said it before. Amazing.

Not all to crazy about Ritchie Valens myself but what you have there sounds like a great collectible item.

And was listening to Lita Ford's Kiss me deadly again on repeat earlier. Loud yes.

Zeppelin Loud?! =) Sunday, early morning... Do you have nice neighbours or they are just far away

Listening to Cream - "Four Until Late" (R. Johnson original) - Master, Alternate Mix (from Acetate) fom an October 1966 session.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5d3P1JakVOk

Loud in my headphones  My neighbours are not far away from me

"Toad" is the next one. Be ready for a huge Ginger Baker's "drum storm" =)

No no lol, Out loud under the headset.
Only kiss me deadly was without headset for a little while before I put it back on cause my neighbours are close by too.
This is a 60's appertment building wich has it's plus points but also some not nice sides to it, Like thin walls and hunted elevators. ( at least to me)
But they do forgive me for 45 minutes of loud music during the day when I do my work out.

But yes they do complain. Even the way how I shut my front door. :?
But I guess that's what you have when you rent a place.
Don't wanna buy a house or appartment here. I moved house so many times in this country.

You have a wireless headset Victor?
The bad thing from it is that you have to let it load a lot.
But it's fantastic to just stroll around the house with that thing on.

Cream is awesome. Great choice. =)

No, I don't have a wireless headset which is a shame
I suppose I have to spend some money and adapt myself to the wonders of sound mobility

Some of my neighbours seem cool people. In working days I usually arrive home around 18h00 but in the days I arrived before I noticed that there's a, huuuh, a "loud musical period" around 17 to 18h00, before kids arrive home, which is good...
No, I'm not a voyer, but it's too obvious
I remember one day they played Morrison Hotel. I catched from Land Ho! to Maggie M' Gill. I suppose they played the whole album

You are so lucky that you got neighbours who play the Doors.
On the left I have a family living wich include a horny teenage boy who adores Michael jackson. Every day he has Thriller on.

I have a Logitech wireless headset, it did cost me around 80 euro's if I remember correct. I am surprised by the quality of it. Seriously. I use it for music and for talking by computer phone.
The only bad part of it is indeed that you will have to load it once for a few hours in about two days. Depends how much you use it.
It hardly gives a warning when it needs to load. The sound just immediately stops.
Look in to it Victor, if it sounds interesting to you.
I have no regret that I bought it.

Sounds tempting, Mon.

Thinking about neighbours, here's an awsome and hilarious (for me) song from Tom Waits
What's he building in there?

It's a good investement, if you know you will use it a lot. :D

Hmm I have a neigbour like that but he lives on the 1st floor. He knows when I leave and when I come home, like he never sleeps, wich can be creepy sometimes. But he is kind and I do say hello to him, but I do keep my distance.

Thanks for the Tom waits video Victor. It's uhm interesting.

Scott make sure you get a good PT
in 8 to 12 wks. The first pt I had was awful- put me back 3 months.
The second one was a girl and her hands were just not strong enough to help me work it, she had a guy come and help her finally and he is why I can walk with out a cane or a limp now. Also I told them them I did not want a wimpy therapist and I did everything they ask me twice. Of course, I was set back from the 1st pt and had to make up time and I had also shattered my leg, but that is very important.! If you don't feel a difference after each session, you might ask for someone else. don't feel bad for that It is your leg.

The break is healed and I' m in an air brace now---support for the ankle but much less rigid so I have ankle movement so my tendons do not get stiffened. It already feels much better, but quite painful if I stretch too much. But it is coming back now and I expect it to improve steadily as the next two or three weeks go by. Ortho Doc says I'm where she expects me to be and x-rays look good.

Thanks, twilla.

Hey, Spermy, have you got the mono box? The mono remaster of Yer Blues bites harder and rocks harder than stereo, and Helter Skelter is twice as manic...even though shorter..no "I've got blisters on my fingers" at the end.

Is he? I didn't know. I know nothing about Ted Nugent to be honest. :) I just listen to some of his songs I like. Like Stranglehold and Wango Tango.

Another Detroit rocker....how many great ones came from or were bred musically in Detroit & Michigan in general?

Del Shannon, Stevie Wonder, Mitch ryder, Grand Funk Railroad, MC5, Question Mark, Iggy and the Stooges, Bob Seger, Mike & Suzi Quatro, Alice Cooper, Cub Koda (Brownsville Station), Frijid Pink, The four tops, Glen Frey (Eagles), The Supremes, & some that I don't care for like Madonna, Eminiem, Kid Rock, White Stripes....the list goes on...and on....
