My approach to the Doors and Jim is that they were a very talented rock band, and produced some of the finest rock and roll in history....
Jim was quite human, flawed in many ways, squandered his talents once he turned to heavy drinking , and wasn't perfect-nobody is. But he was an artist- a very talented one at that.
- He was hardly the Jesus figure than some of his fans paint him out as being...

Are there many female Doors fans that do collect boots over at the LL?
I have ran into a few-- but not many. I actually, in my opinion, find it harder to navigate that whole realm being a girl. I sometimes thought people have a harder time taking me seriously.
