Well, hell yeah....he only produced one of my all time favorites and was a close friend & collaborator of Gene Clark---tops for me.

"NO OTHER" is a masterpiece by Gene, produced by Thomas. Did Thomas play guitar on this too? From the Zen master-Gene Clark & Thomas Jefferson Kaye...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YULwbhga18

and my all time favorite Gene Clark song....Refuse From A Silver Phial

Thanks for bringing up Thomas Jefferson Kaye, Nicole. He deserves top mention for sure!! Rest in peace, Mr Kaye.

I need to check out the album you gave us. So you knew him? I would love to have heard his stories of Gene and everyone he knew back in the day!! That would have been a whole book worth reading!!

The genius and brilliance of Tim Hardin..."if I Were A Carpenter"...a wonderful melding of jazz & folk blues....the perfect version-- that was never covered as well as by the man that wrote it--Mr Hardin.

Nice. I have the first pressing of Ritchie's one and only vinyl-Del-Fi 1959. Such a beautiful album cover.
