I am just amazed at dear dear Pat's every time mentioning Ed's board in a negative way when he clearly hate us all so much.

The LL is a total embarassment. There are very few good fans still there. The lot of that place puts Doors fans to shame.

I respect every one of our regulars on this board. Were a bit of a family here, and I never found that at the LL. Everyone here contributes in a great way. This is the BEST Doors forum anywhere.

There are still some cool people over there..I like Dot..Hell, i met my Australian x girlfriend on that site! Didn't work out, but she was cool.

There was some kind of falling out where a bunch of LL regulars like Hoon and Skye went off and formed their own Doors board-It was all petty shit...I found most of the hardcores were okay- it was most of the people who tried to suck up to Dave and Jeff who were annoying as hell..
Mizscartett was one of the most annoyong people I have ever encountered online..I was a LL regular off and on from around 2000-2007..prior to that, I was on that Doors chat site, and wrote for DCM.

LL is a drag these days...I used to pop buy every few months, but now the regulars are a bit too snotty for my tastes- pats radio has the habit of lecturing people,. which annoys me to no end...


My other passion is the Titanic, and there is a Titanic equivilant to LL, complete with the posers, the hardcores, the asskissers, the occasional cool person and the name droppers..


What happened to Dave Dukowski? He completely vanished from the LL board...
I've decided I like it here..good people, kindred spirits, and generous..

While walking up Sunset Blvd. to the Rainbow Room last night, Greg and I ran into a guy giving away tickets to the Key Club to see 'Adlers Appetite' (ex-drummer Steve Adler from Guns N' Roses). After eating a great pizza at the 'Bow (table that was reserved for Adler after the show), we headed to the Key Club and got right in. Fuckin' show rocked. Great time and we had the best seats in the place! Upstairs, right above where the band was playing.

Did you notice how Dave was credited on WYS. For what? IMO, the doors archivist needs to be on site. Meaning, in the general area.

I don't have much to share only that I had my windows open enjoying fresh air and I now am swamped in a very deep intense cow shit smell.
The farmers started doing the lands. It stinks.
Just needed to get that of my chest. Luckily we have a topic for that.

Hello all. I was active on here last year. This year has been hell in a Doors related and general sense. I no longer want to be a part of the Doors world because it makes me fucking sick. I actually feel that I've lost a huge part of myself. I feel guilt, shame and discomfort here. I also feel that I truly just dont belong. This whole year I've been trying, fighting, but its all become too much of a burden. The people I trust the most to help me haven't at all and I feel that I have to do what I do to in order to be able to live and feel that I have some sense of who I am again. This breaks my heart, I used to love this place. I've joined a ton of forums and Ive rarely had more than 5 posts on each of them except here. So it means a lot that I was active on here for a while, and it also means a lot that many of you on here were very cool to me. I hope that I can come back someday, but right now, I just simply dont know how to.
