You kidding me, eni...You're BEAUTIFUL. You have just given yourself the power to BE.

It's the idiots with nothing between their ears, and no hearts that are ugly!!!

Thanks so much you two. Agree with a lot that you said. I guess its not gross.

I guess that confidence, brains or heart does equal beauty. I'm not far too confident though. I'm pretty awkward and pretty anti-social as in I stay inside a lot. Hardly go out socialising. But then again I still have lots of time to get out there and meet lots of people. Nothing comfier than a night in in front of the TV or the internet though

I think I might post a pic or two of me in the members photo's thread.

You are a lot more confident then you give yourself credit for.

And yes to posting your photo in the member photo thread. :D There is absolutely nothing wrong with you. You're not akward and you are not ugly at all. You've allready been at a lot of places in your short life.

I'm sure goin out there socialising will come when you feel ready. I see you grow on this forum. Wich is absolutely great to see btw. You do so great girlie.

Thanks Mon and Chris :)

Yeah, I guess I have grown on the forum. With other forums I posted a few times and didn't quite post again. They are pretty scary places at times for me, this place is pretty great though.

I've been experiencing some depression lately but your nice comments really do help, Mon, and the rest of you. Respect to you too

Yes you have grown very much in the time you've been here and it's a pleasure to see Eni. You've got no reason to be scared of anyone here but if a situation would come up and someone might harras or attack you, you can always report them to the admins and Ed. They wont tolerate asshole behaviour.

If it's a woman you wanna talk too I'll be happy to add you to Yahoo or AIM. I do have MSN too but I am never on there.

You deserve the compliments girlie. All the way. You gonna do just fine in life. :D

It's not so much asshole behaviour that makes me nervous, that too I guess, but it's shyness. It's not so much of an issue here though... I have come a long way.

Thanks for the offer. It would be nice to generally add you. I have MSN but I don't have Yahoo or AIM  Love MSN, but I might sign up to AIM. Is that any good?

Thanks :) Hope so.

No Yahoo or AIM? Aah  AIM is allright. In the beginning I had a lot of problems setting it up but now it runs smoothly.
Yahoo is nice to use too. Only gets stuck every once in a while.
Just give me a yell when you're set or need help.

Oh, I have seen this before. I think that's pretty awesome.
Sure took some dedication and a killer memory to remember to do that EVERY day for 6 years.

EDIT: and he is still working on it http://www.everyday.noahkalina.com/

Ya, check out that website. That guy has been doing it for like 9 years now. Looks like he did not get EVERY day in there since there are some blank areas.....but its pretty cool. Not sure what is going to become of it......but pretty neat regardless.

He seems to have grown a beard :D I like beards on men... Um anyway  I watched the youtube vid and when he started out he looked so much younger than he did at the end of the vid. Why wouldn't he when 6 years had passed?

Slowly going insane from trying to remember to take his picture every day?

 Maybe. It would explain the beard.

Someone left a comment on the vid saying that his eyes look sadder as the days go by... Probably due to the stress of life though.

I have a beard and I am not insane :P

I think he's just got that kind of look on his face, my guess is he'd have to be reasonably happy in general to subject himself to that kind of stress.

Cool! Beards look great I think, I'm definitely a fan. I just joked that he could be one of those Howard Hughes type people, being in isolation while he obsessively took pictures of himself.

I agree with your analysis though :D :D Damn right it is. I wouldn't bother doing something like that cuz I don't have much drive or a strong will when it comes to commiting to some things. He must have great spirit and drive to keep doing it.

He certainly looks a little.. out there. Though I do see other people in the pictures so maybe they were around to keep him sane.

Thank you very much Mon.
Sorry to hear about your mom. Sometimes I think people are afraid
that something like that will rub off on them or they will catch it or they are just afraid it could happen to them and they don't want to think about it.
I think of the youth Jim Morrison and his friend Ford when they went to see their friend that had cancer everyday. That is a testiment to his sensitivity.
My husband said he used to lay in the hospital bed and wish someone would come to see him.

Very good to bring up the story of Jim and Ford seeing their friend everyday. You are right. Jim was a lot more sensitive then realized problaby.

There are diverse reasons why people stay away or leave when it gets difficult. Fear of the unknown, selfishnes, all kinds of reasons.
All I know is that when my mom died and there was a will to made public I suddenly saw "family" I never knew eccisted. They didn't even know who I was. Yes marieke.

Sorry to hear about the hard struggle your husband had. And I totaly understand how hard it must have been. One thing is for sure though.
He's got a lovely wife fighting with him.

I understand. :) And knowing you two are gonna have a great vacation for your 25th wedding anniversarry is going to be extra beautiful I think.
Enjoy everyday together Twilla. Image

Yes I fought for my mom 100% always did. When the cancer came back and she was terminal ill we asked her if she wanted to die in her own home instead of the nursing home and with her eyes she said yes. So with the ambulance she was brought to her and my stepdad's house. I moved in for about 4 to 5 months to help take care of her along with my stepdad and ofcourse a medical team who would come several times a day.
She died in my arms while looking at me. One of the hardest things I ever went through but I would do it again within a heartbeat. :)

It's hard to imagine if you haven't been there. My heart goes out to you, Mon. My Father, Mother and Father in Law all died with us there....never thought I would want something like that, but being able to be there and care for them and see their eyes and gratitude......

it's a priveledge that most don't get--to experience the life force peacefully pass from a loved one. Harder that you can imagine but a comfort in later years. I know I fear death less now....I'm guessing you feel the same, Mon.

Mon
You now have a guardian angel to watch over you.
I know how hard that was for you. I held my grandmother when she died, but she had a long life of 94.

I don't know if you have ever heard of EVista, but it is a drug that has proven to prevent breast cancer. As far as I know it has not been approved for use for that reason in the USA but is approved for osteoporosis here.
You might check and see if it is available in Holland and if that is something you would be interested in.
