Keith Richards - About Jim Morrison suggesting 'Exile on Main St' title

Keith Richards answering a question originally for his website. Did Doors singer Jim Morrison suggest the title for 'Exile on Main Street', while the Stones were recording the album in France in 1971? "There goes another one" refers to Keith's previous questions about Gram Parsons, John Lennon and George Harrison (all dead).

Everytime I see footage of keith these days, I am amazed that he is still alive.

Wasn't it last year or the year before that, that he fell out of a palm tree and people were upset with him because he said he snorred the ashses of his cremated father?

That is true.

But I remember so well when the news got out he fell out of a tree, and I thought, he did what?

But it is a fact that the Stones are still very strong with performing. Their tours still are always sold out I believe. After all those years, and still playing. That's amazing.
Did they come back to Greece for a concert after they canceled teo?

Dennis, don't you Amsterdamn mee.
Good to hear your dad and sis had a great time. They are both Stones fans?

No they didnt Mon ,and its the second time they cancel their concert in Greece, the first one i had bought tickets and never got my money back !
the second time i hadnt buy tickets until i heard that they are cancelling their tour , so i saved my money

I hope they come someday before they stop playing , it will be a revelation to me.

I have only seen Robert plant from 3 meters away as far as rock gods is concerned , my best conert !, now i have to seee the stones and of course Rots (if they come anywhere in europe i am going to , i must go )

I say Amsterdamn becouse of the sound in the Arena, you know if they fixd that yet? I dont have issius with ppl from Amsterdam(dont have issius with annybody  from anny city). And my wife my sis and my sisterinlaw love to shop in AD.

They are both Stones fans?

They are both stones fans but not the hardcore ones, my dad is both Beatels and Stones fan. My sis knows the drummer from Van Dik Hout, and I am a big fan off VDH. She just like the musicscene I gues.

I didn't know they were still together. That is a Dutch band that has been around for a while. Great. :)

I'm happy you don't have problems with people from A'dam.
But everytime I hear someone say Amsterdamn(ed) I have to laugh. Cause I immediately am thinking Ajax-Feyenoord again.

I agree with your wife and sister in law. Amsterdam is great to shop.
=) But not healthy for the money lol.

Yes, I am the second one inline from Iceland. I got 250 gulden(dutch current befor the euro) for it and a retour ticket to Amsterdam. I was standing at the back of the line but the director put me on the second spot XD.
However:
There was a guy from the Malta goverment in Holland how saw the thing on TV, he got upset that it implyd that Malta not got throu the first round of the WK. So he insisted it got of the air, it lasted for like 2 weeks LOL

I am in a dutch movie calld "de rode zwaan" to, I was a stuntman and belong to the woodppl(houtvolk), I actually look a bid like Jim in my movieoutfit sitting in a tree with my sunglasses and a fake beard(They took a pic but I never got it  )
And.... I did a lineup for that castingagency, they picd me 5 out of 6 times as the guy how robed a gasstation and shot the attendent(the headsuspect I acsedently new from a gypsy camp were I use to buy fireworks).
And I also staring in a serie calld "Weside possie" as a member of a silly chaingang and walking bye in some other shots. We had a nice time smoking weed with the stars(Leantien Ruiters(Borsato)was a star to but she did not smoke) on the set and the guys from the light(whom dropd a expensif lamp from a roof of the set). It was shot at the place were they shot Flodder 1 and 2.

I did some crazy shit back then including smoking way to much weed!

Edit: sorry got a bit carryd away, I wil stick to topic next time

I remember seeing that commercial. The man from Malta was pissed?

I wish they gave you a photo of the movie you were in. Those are memories that can be very important to someone. I can see why you would have liked them to send it to you. I don't regonize the movie names.
I do know Leotine Ruiters. Borsato now. I thought she would be a horrible actress but after watching her work in Vrouwenvleugel that opinion changed.

You were on the Flodder set? Now that is great. :D The video for the Golden Earring video Burning stuntman was shot there too.

No worries you at all. Thanks for sharing your memories Dennis.

It was a serie on Veronica back then, Leantien was like the waitres of the diner were the posse hang out.

And now its epic for me....shot a serie on the set were the Golden Earring video Burning stuntman was shot!! I set in Johnny's car(the pink one) and walkd throu the houses of zonnendeal(most of them were just the front of the houses). You know Tygo Gernandt? he was in that serie we had a realy good time(smoking), he made me sing autograph's wen we went out in Utrecht. ppl thougt I was a BN'r just like him

Thankzz

Edit: Ed, wen we are not at your work we can talk about other stuff that is not mend to be for other ears(or stuf Morrison can hear wen he is21).

Cool story Dennis, must have been some trip with Tygo!

Believe it or not, but I was also in one episode of the Westside Posse!
I played a cop and had to wait for over an hour with Hans Dagelet (Actor) who was complaining about the actor's being a buncha amateurs!
I remember I had to get a shave, because I looked to much like one of the actor's! I thought, then hire me and get rid of the actor! aah, those were the days!
Never saw the episode by the way...
