OK, I know that probably nobody cares about this in this forum but this is my religion: SL Benfica!

World Cup Futsal 2010 last minute final

I have no idea about the language spoken on this video but what it matters is that:
SL Benfica is the 2010 european champion of Futsal (indoor soccer)!

Soon, we will celebrate Benfica as portuguese soccer champion!

These are going to be some happy weeks! :D

There's something wrong with the audio. Well, who cares?

Wow, that was terrific! Thanks so much for sharing. Fascinating to hear some new stories from someone who doesn't often speak about Jim but who spent a lot of time with him. Why doesn't someone get all these guys -- Frank, Paul, January, and Babe -- together again and sit them in the same room for a big group discussion about the old days? I bet we'd hear some crazy stories, and each guy would remind the other about something that happened. If only The Doors were planning to make a documentary or something and could take the opportunity to do this!

Thanks Len. Also for posting the video. I agree with your whole post.
Put them all together in a place where they feel comferteble to talk ( not a studio) and the stories would be so great to hear. If only... they would consider making a documentary like that. That would be a start.

Very cool, Moni. January was a hell raiser and partner-in-crime with Jim,
and had the shoulder length hair and all the hippie trappings..the
drugs, booze and cool clothes.

I wonder, if Jim had lived, would he look and sound just as laid back and in such good humor,
looking like any regular ol' senior citizen, thinkin' 'bout the good ol' daze!

pretty odd background theme. I thought he will suddenly pick a Tim Buckley record to cultivate the message. Still an unbelievable collection. I'd be very happy with the 1967 Doors album only but I guess just there where it all starts

You don't want his collection. Like BD67 said, he must have been shopping on eBay because he owns several fakes. I couldn't see the 'Morrison Hotel' signature, but all the other Doors albums I could see had fake Jim sigs on them. Scammers will sometimes get the remaining Doors to sign albums at shows or appearances and then forge Jim's autograph to make the album worth more money. I suspect that's what's happened here on a couple of them. Plus a signed copy of 'L.A. Woman' would be really impressive since Jim was living in Paris when it came out. Not sure when it was released in France, but I think it came out in the UK in July. A genuine Jim Morrison signed copy of that album likely doesn't exist. Poor guy. Those things aren't worth what he must have paid for them. He obviously didn't do his research. Caveat emptor.

A shamelessly derivative 60's band, yes.

A fun raw garage psych band of teens that may have recorded too soon,
but... infectious and fun, yes. A couple originals are actually very good
and the rest just remind me of my garage band daze, good raw rock. Give a listen to
this one! Very nice....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpDczXjM810

Then try a couple more...a nice Sundazed release.

Rush hour in Holland

http://sorisomail.com/videos-comicos/43031.html

You dutchies  If I wasn't seeing so many good looking girls with blonde hair I could have imagine this was China!

A little more serious, I wish we could have more of these healthy circulation habits in Portugal.

This wouldn't be properly finished without the OST, in fact one of my favourites =)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBCctL88 ... re=related

I've got a bike
You can ride it if you like
It's got a basket
A bell that rings
And things to make it look good
I'd give it to you if I could
But I borrowed it

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world
I'll give you anything
Everything if you want things

I've got a cloak
It's a bit of a joke
There's a tear up the front
It's red and black
I've had it for months
If you think it could look good
Then I guess it should

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world
I'll give you anything
Everything if you want things

I know a mouse
And he hasn't got a house
I don't know why
I call him Gerald
He's getting rather old
But he's a good mouse

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world
I'll give you anything
Everything if you want things

I've got a clan of gingerbread men
Here a man
There a man
Lots of gingerbread men
Take a couple if you wish
They're on the dish

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world
I'll give you anything
Everything if you want things

I know a room full of musical tunes
Some rhyme
Some ching
Most of them are clockwork
Let's go into the other room and make them work

Yes, but I think in 1973 it was a different place. Not the one The Doors played. Based on wikipedia... "The club closed in 1972; although briefly re-opening at a new location (412 Broadway - previously "Mr Ds") in the fall of 1973" . Here's some detail:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Matrix_(club) (sorry round brackets doesn't work here)

So, it's still very rare to obtain photos from the inside of the original club. I think I've seen less than 10. And the only one with a band playing was the one with Jefferson Airplane.

Matrix and London Fog inside photos (especially with The Doors...) are some of my Holy Graal items

I downloaded this New York Dolls show because, (I know the hair and cloth style ) the music seems interesting. The video footage is interesting to give an idea of what this band was all about: American protopunk.

I dind't hear it yet but I will soon.

Thanks for the link. I'm not a huge "Weird Al" fan, but that video is really good. I wonder if it was in the works when he recently did that other video with Ray.
