Thank you, Vince, for sharing so much on these forums and allowing Doors listeners to ask you questions.
I've read so much about the Doors it was hard for me to think of a good question, since it seems that so many personal bits of information have already been poured into the existing books.
I realise that the times I'm asking about were probably very rare, so if there's only a sliver of an answer, I understand.
My question:
The times that you talked to Jim when he was sober, did he ever express concerns of his behavior when he was drunk/drugged? ... and did he express concern about anyone close to him being affected by his behavior when not sober, or how his friends/girlfriends were maybe influencing him?
I'm just wondering if he was aware of what his drinking/drug-usage was doing to himself and everyone around him. I know that in that time in history, those things weren't looked at the same way they are today, but some people seemed to control themselves much more than others.
Thank you so much for your time.
