Rhino were given the personal contact info for John Van Hamersveld who designed the 1970 poster. Maybe it'll be somewhere else on the package. The Royal Sperm wrote:the cover is great!
can't wait to hear how BB used his magic on that tape
Is this all they have left? The Doors centric stuff is starting to look a bit bare.wha happened wrote:And everyone thought they have these hidden gems in the archive.
It's on the way, year 1968 will be out this year but such an overwhelming work, checking the facts, dates that it's just being postponed since the end of the summer. If you happened to hear previously about the European tour box set you'll know what is approaching.MajorMojo wrote:Another pipe dream of mine is a bluray/DVD data disc with every audience tape and as many photos/memorabilia as possible. Probably better as a fanjob
I wish we knew what Wolfgangs Vault actually had. The Doors audio they had streaming on their site a few years back was all bootleg audio. I was told most, if not all of the good stuff was taken years ago by former insiders and employees.MajorMojo wrote:Is this all they have left? I asked Jampol that question a couple years ago. he gave some non-answer involving the phrase "legal reasons".wha happened wrote:I wish we knew what Wolfgangs Vault actually had. No, whoever the mod for the FB page is just picks videos or links he or she deems neat and that's how they come up with Song of the Day, etc. I thought it was funny that for Vancouver they posted two Youtube links for the bootleg Vancouver source.Roughie wrote:The reason I chose Stockholm was because on the Doors FB page they posted a youtube clip of "You're lost Little Girl" from Stockholm... just got me thinking that maybe....
Oh really? Oh well, I'll stick with my guess just for the hell of it!dj_vera wrote:No, whoever the mod for the FB page is just picks videos or links he or she deems neat and that's how they come up with Song of the Day, etc.

Not chronologically at all:Lost Prophet wrote:Maybe they should release items chronologically?
First Matrix, then Fillmore '67 and so on. I don't see why they shouldn't, they did everything chronologically for concerts from 1970 (except Vancouver).
