It doesn't have to be too scandalous. But, we know there are many stories you haven't told that will humanize Jim or the other doors for us. It would be so appreciated.

A Story - Mexico

We went to Mexico to play in a very Posh club. Originally we had been scheduled to play in the Plaza del Torro.

There had been student riots in 1968. The Mexican Govt arranged to trap many students in a square and then, having set the trap, they blocked the exits and machine gunned the people trapped inside. Many of these were foreign but it was hushed up and passed over with indemnities being paid to the Foreign student's families.

With this in mind the Government decided they could not have Morrison yelling about "We want the world - and we want it now", so the permit was denied.

In the course of events we had some leisure time and decided to go to see Los Pyramides way out side the city. There are photos, taken by Frank Lisciandro, of Jim on the Steps of that temple of the moon.

I was riding in the same limo as John and Robby. On the way to the site, we saw a roadside stand selling oranges and other friut, meat and sundries.

John and robbie, being interested in macrobiotics and natural foods wanted to stop and buy some fruit that had never been contaminated with pesticides - Nice, clean and healthy.

We resumed the trip and everyone began to peel the oranges in anticipation of some refreshing juice. The skins of the miserable little things was about as tough as shoe leather and as easily removed from the small segments within.

I finally managed to get one peeled. John and Robby had got theirs done and were feasting, commenting on how delicious and wonderful they were - and healthy without poisons.

I don't know why but I pulled a segment from the orb and as I was going to eat it I noticed something moved - Yes - Moved. There were worms inside this wonderful poison free fruit. This healthy gift of nature.

In the mean time both John and Robby had eaten a couple of segments and were going for more when I held up my piece and suggested that they check the oranges out before eating.

"Hey guys, These natural poison free oranges have worms inside" or something to that effect.

There was a silence from the rear seats and I observed the boys carefully inspecting the orange segments. Not much else was said about natural fruit, delicious and poison free.

When we came back from viewing the magnificent structures I did notice a bag and three half eaten oranges in a trash can not far from the limos.

You know, Worms are also poison free since they did not taste of pesticides. And they are fat free protien as well. Very healthy.

Really Peeps, it was not that I was so clever as to look before leaping. When I finally wrestled this segment from the orange is just noticed movement. I looked again and could not believe what I was seeing - 4 or 5 white worms squirming at the center of the V part of the segment. Then I held it up to be sure and - OFFF. I don't remember my exact words but I was rather sarvastic about it in a nice way.

the real hoot was the change from lavish eloquence to soicked silence from the back seat
