Love on YouTube.....post 'em

LOVE was another great band from the 60's and of course VERY Doors related.
I think it would be great to have this special topic about the band who was such a big example for The Doors.

SO true, Ed. Arthur loved word play and playing with our minds to get us to think.

All we need is LoVE!

I LOVE this!!! If there is any way I can ever recover my mp3s off my old computer hard drive, the first thing I want is my friend, Gabie McGarrah, singing Alone Again Or. Trust me, he has the most beautiful voice on that recording, ever. :-)
Watching the stars till they're gone,
like an actor all alone,
who never knew the story he was in,
who never knew the story ends.
Like the sky reflecting my heart,
all the colors become visible.
When the morning begins... I'll read the last line.

And, yes, I understand it's not Arthur singing when it's my friend but my friend is a professional musician, has been all his life and he's the one who turned me on to Love and Arthur in the 60s and neither of us has ever lost our love for Arthur, all these years...

I would love to get that mp3 off that hard drive. LOL. I can't seem to find anyone to do it for me and he doesn't have a copy of the version he sent me. UGH! It's beautiful.

Thanks, JTK. I might just send it down to my friend in MO and have him do it. I should have had him do it when he pulled the drive out in the first place but I was in the middle of a move from state to state and in a hurry and I just wanted the HD so I could get rid of the rest of it.

I don't have the mp3 recovered from the hard drive BUT he just recorded a new one, complete with all backup instruments, etc. It's out of this world!!!

Wanna hear it? I would have to email it to you, I guess. I have no idea how to post an mp3 on a forum. Videos, yes, mp3s, no.

Lemme know!

The added The SEEDS-like (group) sound and kept the photo punk sound of Love...cool.

Is there really no live concert footage of Love with the classic line-up (1966-1968)?

Nothing. If any exists it is being hoarded. Arthur was very strict about NO recording on those early days.
