How many here weren't even aware of the home page-- with Johnny's stories there?
Thanks again, Ed! Johnny made Love Story the best documentary I've ever had the pleasure to watch...you are my favorite "iconoclast". Johnny!
You may know me as "lemonade kid", Johnny!

A great new one by Johnny this week all!!! About James Brown..it's not all Love stories.
Members here may not realize that Johnny posts a new diary every month, and there are so many great stories about Love and the times back in the day and all the other musicians of the day.
I love the story about a rival band member that asked Johnny the words to "Hey Joe" at a club that Love was playing. Johnny made up a bunch of crazy lyrics on the spot. He wasn't gonna just give up the lyrics to one of their great live songs they covered. "Hey Joe" was a Love staple that everyone loved to hear...a bit rawer by Love than the Byrds/Crosby version; Bryan picked it up when he was the roadie for the Byrds.
Sure enough, not long after, that other band had a big radio hit with those totally whacked-out lyrics and most rock bands have used the lyrics Johnny made up that day.
(Has Johnny posted that story Ed? Or is that from the Love Story doc?)
Ed---maybe you can post here when Johnny has a new Diary posted so we know to check it out! Thanks.
