KRLA Radio Broadcast With John Carpenter and Jim

I mentioned this in the Quotes thread but maybe it deserves a thread of its own. Carpenter told Jerry Hopkins that after asking Jim several times that Jim finally agreed to be a DJ on his radio show on KRLA. I know it's a long shot but is there any chance this broadcast exists? I'm assuming this happened sometime in 1968.
