Love didn't get airplay so much here as on the West coast, so we got Little Red Book, but never heard much else.

We had a few "rock stars" from Iowa that made it over to LA & SF. LINN COUNTY originally from Iowa before moving to SF, stands out as an innovative band that incorporated such instruments as soprano sax....I always thought their music had some Love influences....

Did you ever see them or hear them...they broke up when their drummer went over to play for Janis Joplin.

And one that got a lot of airplay on underground radio..."Lower Lemons"...
