Michael Stuart-Ware (drummer on LoVE's classic albums Da Capo and Forever Changes) and Johnny Echols (lead guitarist and co-founder of LoVE) have joined us here on the Forum to answer your questions about their time with LoVE.At this moment they are not active as members and are not answering questions but I'm proud to have them both aboard at The Freedom Man Forum!
I place these kind thoughts for Mark Tulin of the Electric Prunes (and condolences for his friends and family)... here because of his association with Love through time and space, and for the fact that they were to tour with Love on that last ill fated US tour (from a couple years ago) that unfortunately did not pan out as hoped.
Mark died of a heart attack on Catalina Island on Feb 26, 2011. RIP....

The PRUNES were still making great music right up to the end. GREAT GREAT music.

I am so sorry to hear of Mark's death. Patrick the promoter of the gig emailed me last night with the news. We did play a few gigs with the Electric Prunes on the tour, and all things considered, thing went rather well. We had discussed doing a tour with them and the new "Big Brother," in the near future. Mark was a decent guy, and he will be missed.

Right Johnny...there just seemed to be many detail issues with the tour but all things considered, from what I heard from those who caught a show ...the venues were packed and all involved were well received!
For myself, I was disappointed that Michael Stuart had to bow out due to other obligations...his drumming is what I wanted to see. He had said he would get me a couple passes at a show near here, but I really wanted to meet him.
How is Michael...we havent heard from him lately?
