Bryan's '98 letter to Arthur

Reading that letter I get the sense that Bryan had really made peace with both Arthur and his legacy from Love. It probably had alot to do with his religous outlook, but also maybe from his personal maturity with the passing of time. It is quite uplifting to read, mixed with a tinge of sadness knowing what was to come at the end of 1998.
Einarson's book only briefly touched upon this. I am left wondering what Arthur's feelings were towards Bryan's reaching out, and whether they could have even played together again had circumstances been different. Who knows; that letter could have been the begining of a chain towards a (almost) full band reformation.
I don't know if Bryan had tried something similar with the other members of the band; perhaps when Johnny gets back into the swing of things on the board he and Michael might enlighten us.
