Which contemporary bands that opened for LoVE or that you went out of your way to see are particularly engraved in your minds?!

Did you hang around after your sets to hear any other bands particularly?

Lot of acts I was proud to share the bill with...legendary groups like keyboard wunderkind, Lee Michaels, Moby Grape, The Staple Singers, Canned Heat, Big Brother and of course The Doors, but my all time favorite had to be jazz great, Roland Kirk, the man who could play two saxophones at one time.

What an honor that was.

He was absolutely phenomenal.
