The early work of this band came as close as any to fulfilling the legacy of '60s icons like The Doors and Love. From LA in the early '80's. Later on, the original guitarist and bassist left, and they mutated into an audience-confrontational punk band, which I didn't like as much, but the singer, "Falling James" Moreland is a music writer for the paper in LA. This video is actually two songs rammed together. "Virginia City" is on a compilation called "Keats Rides a Harley". "Going Down To Town" is on their first single. This is the later version, on their first album Well Down Blue Highway, now out of print.
