I did make a nice Ebay find..Jim wore a heavy Robert Lewis coat in early 1968- They often pop up on Ebay, but beat to shit-

I just bought one on Ebay, identical to the one Jim owned-this one was at a fair price and in my opinion excellent shape- and it fits!

My two fav jackets of his are the one he wore on PBS and the one in the Hello I love you Video. The snakeskin pants and jacket were quite cool too.

Any theories on whether or not Jim's 'European tour' leather jacket (with the huge lapels) was custom made, or was it an off the rack jacket?

Has anyone here ever seen a jacket like Jim's huge lapeled leather jacket?

I am STILL trying to track down Jim's 'engineer bob' pants; the huge pocketed striped blue railroad engineer pants he wore for most of 1969. Does anyone knopw the name of the company that made those pants? I've been after a pair like that for years..

That's the one I am talking about :) never seen another exactly like it. Some similar, but not quite the same.

I have a concho belt similar to Jims. The buckle is different, I prefer Jims but I still like mine. The conchos are pretty much the same. EDIT Pic below. Will find a closer one later if anyone is interested!

Was this custom made or off the rack?

I love my concho belt. My wife has one too actually. A female one though. Rumours are all we have as to Jim's belt.

Interesting. Never seen that show. Don't think we get it here.

The rumours I have heard...

Lost
Stolen
Yves Saint Laurent has it (weirdest theroy I reckon)
Coursons/Morrisons have it (most likely if not lost/stolen)

I'd love a pair of those pants. Way cool. The jacket is pretty pimp too.

Had Jim lived a full life, his hair would have been snow white by his mid 40s. I think premature graying is a Morrison trait

Would have been pretty fun for those three years.
