...David peel and Jim Morrison had a friendship where both admired each other's work, plus David peel was on Electra records...a secret session, very much like John Sebastian playing harp for The Doors 'Morrison Hotel' track "roadhouse blues"....Here you have Jim singing back up from a studio recording labeled such on some old Reels I've seen...

...they also used pre-recorded vocals sung by Jim Morrison ...

I remember rumors at the time this was released that Morrison sang the background vocals on this song. Thanks for bringing it up. I had completely forgotten. =)

Is "Danny Says" a film by or about Danny Fields? He signed some pretty cool bands to Elektra.
