Since next month marks the 50th anniversary of The Doors, the band has a number of archival releases, like London Fog, in the works. "London Fog is the first limited-edition release, but it's jumpstarting the whole thing," Densmore says. "There will be more stuff, including a couple of films, including one you haven't seen before. I'm very excited about that."

HWY and IOW?

Even if we assume that John is describing IOW as unseen, which it is basically,
what is the film we have already seen? They have already released the bowl, FOF, DAO and most of the tv stuff so what film is left to release that isnt unseen? PBS and Denmark again?

Thanks for the youtube link. What I meant was, say something about what you just posted. Just posting a pic says nothing really. From now on whenever somebody just post's a pic without any info, I'm going to ask that they elaborate on it.

For instance: "Just got this from the local record store" or "where is this pic from".

Dude that was great. The song was very similar to the studio cut, like the skeleton is all there, but they had time to finesse the arrangement.

Just listened to the Lp.It's really worth to buy this album. It's really special to hear this early Doors performance. You can hear the venue is small and how the vibe was.Wish I could have seen such an early Doors gig life!
So if you ask me, recommended!

As of right now, the only songs that haven't been UL to YouTube yet are Rock Me and Hoochie Coochie Man. The videos UL on this channel have the best audio quality (for a YouTube video):

Great historical document, but I'm probably in the minority here saying it's not as good a performance as I hoped. The cover songs are mediocre and the only worthwhile songs, in my opinion, are the two originals. You Make Me Real is pretty good and so is Strange Days and they are probably the only two songs that will get multiple plays/listens from me. YMMR has that surf rock feel. I wish Ray's vocals weren't so distorted. After listening to this it makes you appreciate Rothchild and his contribution to the Doors "sound".

I'm wondering if ALL of the Doors original songs, including You Make Me Real and Strange Days may have been recorded during the first album sessions and then Rothchild picked the final album tracks.

Again, the Fog tape is a nice piece of history, but still doesn't come close to the Matrix shows. Here's hoping a Whisky tape turns up soon.

I did. Sounds like a Voice Message greeting. After nearly 2 minutes of Jim talking, you then here a beep. If you hit '3', that fast forwards to the beep then dead air.
