Your favorites of 2011

Over on the Pink Floyd ''Yeeshkul'' forums, they had a thread where members chose their top ''finds'' of 2011.

Now, I would say that The Doors had a slow year in 2011... lots of talk but not a lot of action. But I think we should each try list our top Doors discoveries/releases of last year.

I would say from top to bottom:

1. Tuscon Arizona footage
2. London Fog discovered
3. L.A Woman Outtakes, specifically Riders on the Storm (from Record Store Day) - would be second on my list if more had been released
4. She Smells So Good sample
5. (even though I discovered it tonight, it was posted on YT in 2011) - The 'Away In India' section from IOW's ''The End'')

and a bonus number 6: The Announcement of The Year of the Doors Sticker

Wish I could have added bootlegs to that list, but I can't think of any.

I wonder how your list will differ? Your turn!

P.S. - I understand us Doors fans didn't have a huge selection this year and may not be as lucky when compared to Floydians when it comes to new content due to the extensive career of PF, and new shows are always emerging. However, I found it extremely helpful, looking at other people's opinions and seeing what I had missed from that year. I'm hoping your list will give me something to check out, or make me go back to something I have so I can realise I may have missed a treasure and I hope other members can read our lists and discover new things for themselves.

Also I think its worth noting that those session reels were discovered on an auction site, all though I think they've been known to exist for some time. So maybe it wasn't a bad year for Doors material. Not too much has happened but its all been pretty big news!

Hey! Ok, maybe my timing is a bit off but I think I first heard about these things in 2011

However, I think it was 2011 that a sample of the Tuscon Arizona footage started circulating around the public forums.

So for you in 2011, the reels and LA Woman alternate takes were the only big thing?
