Still nothing about The Doors on 1968.

Interesting, I was thinking about this the other day when I saw a news clip with footage of TOTP from years before the Doors appearance. But then you know maybe they just chose ones at random to tape over, or kept ones with British artists? Maybe it still exists, somewhere? Meh, more than likely it is gone.

Yes, maybe. I understood that ocasionally some episodes do surface with some odd origin or reason to be kept. I don't think there's anyone that still keeps tapes on purpose. It seems there is this lack of knowledge on what is being kept. BBC didn't tape for keep but some other TV from the commonwealth receive this stuff and therefore there's this possibility.
However, I believe it's a remote possibility that the Doors 1968 episode will surface. Most likely it's gone. Very sad.
