Paul has always rocked with the best of them (Helter Skelter), and Paul certainly rocks here with no trouble at all. Not showing his 70 years AT ALL!

I love Paul, and I love Nirvana, esp. Dave Grohl's drumming. But Kris Novoselic is one of the worst bass players I've ever seen/heard. I'm sure Paul is biting his lip.

Is he? I'm a Nirvana fan too, but I haven't noticed his playing. However, he comes from a band that were pop/rock with a punk rock sound. Kurt Cobain wasn't a very good guitar player. He played mostly power chords and some simple riffs and solos, but he, like The Beatles, knew how to write catchy songs. He was a Beatles fan and wrote About a Girl after listening to Meet The Beatles.

Yeah, for what Nirvana was, he was ok. I'm a bass player myself and laugh at his technique and beginner playing ability.

Yes, Kurt was not a great guitarist, but I agree that he knew how to write a hook.
