From EMI, 6 Remastered Donovan albums with masses of bonus tracks all for £14.99
‘Breezes Of Patchouli (The Studio Recordings 1966-1969)’ now collects together 6 remastered Donovan albums across 4CDs, beginning with his critical hit ‘Sunshine Superman’, then ‘Mellow Yellow’ home of his most famous track, ‘The Hurdy Gurdy Man’ (which now features a previous unreleased Italian promo version of Jennifer Juniper), ‘Barabajagal’ and finally both parts of the double album release ‘A Gift From A Flower To A Garden’. The set is expanded with an entire disc of bonus material taken from across the albums featured and the pack also includes extensive liner notes written by Record Collector journalist Lorne Murdoch. --spincds
