Very cool, Spermy. Didn't realize there were RSD vinyl shops outside the USA.

Tell me more about your vinyl store...any pics! Vinyl stores are so addictive...and the vibe in a vinyl store is like breathing the magical 60's air. A place to experience the 60's again... or for the first time!

Very cool store, Spermy. You make me want to file trough those record bins in your store for hours of endless pleasure. I spotted a copy (NEW?) of one of my treasures in my library....I have a mint 1959 Ritchie Valens' first LP on Del Fi. So beautiful to see Ritchie still on the vinyl record shelves!

I love your store logo Kat...great fun!

So did anyone get Pink Floyd / 1965 / Their First Recordings at Record Store Day?

I have it. Very cool to hear these Syd & Floyd demos (though we have likely heard most from other boors or releases, this is pretty cool to see on one platter. )

I'm guessing they released it to avoid the copyrights from expiring - Dylan & Beatles did that too to avoid the expiration.

They do a nice cover of "Im A King Bee"

=)

There were only 300 total pressings released world-wide. It was in Maine at Bull Moose--the co-founders of the Record Store Day. I believe it will be on CD--hopefully, soon.

But if not, you can find full listens right now at Sound Cloud--there is a free app that allows us to download Sound Cloud songs too.

HA! Not even LoVE?!! Of course if we ever got something as rare as a 1966 demo by LoVe it would be priceless!!! The early LoVE rarities before 1967 are numbered in ...well ZERO. Imagine if that was the case for The Doors. This board probably wouldn't even exist at least we wouldn't have the interest in live bootlegs and demos that we DO have...well Turban's Love board exists so maybe I'm wrong. Torben;s Arthur Lee/Love is best board out there along with Freed's HERE!!!

Anyone interested in discussing music with old guys like me at that fine site...you are welcome!! We always need new blood!

:D

later day Love 1970, live...pretty brilliant stuff still for Four Sail!!

Play it loud!

Arthur Lee is arguably the most underappreciated, underrated artist of the 60's. Hendrix learned from, he got his break from, Arthur. Love influenced every psychedelic band that came out of the late 60's onward, including the Beatles. Forever Changes is absolutely one of the greatest albums ever made. RIP Arthur, you will live forever. --Michelle Kai - 6 months ago, youtube

Didn't wait in line for over an hour like I used to at the local record shop. Instead, I obtained this via ebay.
