That is record number 1497.
When I have 1500, I will publish a discography, self made, 50 pieces only, 200 pages, A5 format, hand-sewn, with little pictures.
And then ? Retirement ? Take a break for sure!

Hey Stefan, I’m a newbie to this forum, but I’m already impressed by your posts! 1500 wow!! Is that only Doors albums? I’ve just began(seriously) my journey of collecting and I’m interested in Doors bootleg LP’s at the moment. Love hearing Jim live and the rawness of their live bootlegs. Is there a thread for buying/selling on here? Or just info as to all albums out there in the world?! Also I may be interested in one of your 50 books you make up!!

No, it's not just doors records, it also has samplers, covers and tribute LP's.
I bought my first Doors LP in 1981, 1500 about a week ago.
Now I'm at the point where I want to stop...I've seen it.
I want to spend my money on other things.

The discography will be finished around mid/end of March.
Concentrated information about Doors LP's as you will find them ANYWHERE ... not nearly, neither in book form nor on the net.
The book cover will be...ahem...a surprise

The Doors Discography, 1500 records, 61 countrys

I have a hefty setback to report.
After I had printed, folded, punched, sewn and glued 50 little books, I realized that it wouldn't work like that.
60 grams of paper is not suitable, doesn't harmonize with the cover at all, badly sewn, badly glued ... I can start again from the beginning!

I chump!!!

Now I am a lot faster in the production of a booklet because I was able to gain experience.
Nevertheless, it will be mid/end of May until you hold one in your hands.
